So how does it work?

If from our Strategy Call this program is suitable to you, we then take you through a thorough Posture & Movement Screening to identify areas that are tight and weak, and the reasons why, before prescribing your 12 Week Strength Program that can be performed at our studio or on your own accord!

How do I get started?

The first step is to book a Strategy Call with our Studio Owner and Head Trainer, Matt Townsend. Simply fill in the form and we will give you a call!

Is this for beginners?

Our clientele range from brand new to athletes. The programming is designed to meet you where you're at and provide continued progression to achieve results you never thought were possible.

What results can I expect - and how fast?

Clearly results are subjective and based on the individuals own dedication, though working with hundreds of clients over my 18+ year career, here is what I generally find when following the program.
Within the first month you will notice everyday tasks become easier such as moving boxes or carrying the shopping. You will also have more day to day energy and sleep better.
Within the second month you will remove nagging pains and niggles and clearly enjoy the process of strength training as your mood and motivation levels are also consistently improved.
Within the third month you will have noticeable results in the mirror and strength training is something you understand and feel confident about.

What makes this different from other Personal Trainers?

Generally speaking, many trainers work in a session to session, show and tell, type training program. While the trainers may know 'what to do' and 'how to do' the exercises themselves, they leave their clients still.. well.. dumbfounded with their own strength training.
We pride ourselves on the fact that not only is your program systematically designed to rectify any issues you have with functional movement, but the lessons from the sessions and the program are with you for life!

What's included in the program?

The program begins with a Functional Body Analysis, Nutrition Consultation and Program Orientation as the foundation blocks to your success, from there you can choose which package (if any) best suit you to make sure you complete the program, whether that be one on one or part of a group.

What if I can't make a session?

Personal Training: With 24 hours notice we will simply reschedule to a more suitable time. If you miss a session due to unforeseen circumstances we will endeavor to reschedule a time that is also suitable to the trainer.
Group Training: We have session times available throughout the week, and you will only be charged for sessions that you attend, meaning 'missed' sessions are credited to a later date.

How much time do I need to commit each week?

You can choose a package based on your level of commitment (whether that be 1 or 4 sessions per week) though quite simply, your commitment level will be reflected in your results. We generally recommend 3 sessions and that is most of our clientele, though there will be circumstances where more or less than 3 makes more sense.

Where are you located/ what is the setup?

We are privately owned and secure Personal Training Studio in Box Hill North. There are no walk-in memberships available, meaning that our clientele are safe from the unknown actions of strangers accessing the gym.

How much does it cost?

There are packages available that would only require an investment from roughly $70/ week. There is an option of starting with an Introductory Package to find out if Elite Body Fitness is the right fit for you.

What if I have injuries or haven't trained in years?

Through our thorough screening process we will provide a workout plan that is tailored to your current goals and capabilities.
If you have an injury or condition that is out of our scope of practice then we will refer you to a professional who can help you before commencing training with us.

Hey, I'm Matt Townsend

Over the last 18 years, I have helped hundreds of clients lose weight, build muscle and move pain free.

In my teens and twenties, I pushed my body hard to become an AFL Umpire not realising a debilitating issue with Scoliosis was creating a series of recurring injuries and issues in my hips and lower back.

I needed to look deeper into the skills and knowledge needed to overcome these problems and start moving and training again without the pains and frustrations of not trusting if my body could 'hold-up' for the next workout.

This helped me develop the systems and structure behind mine and my clients programs to build strength in a way to make sure they can be confident in their own bodies again and never have to worry about pain and injury when strength training!
